I Belong

While current teaching practices in the field of special education are often based on correcting children's "deficits," the High/Scope educational model builds on and maximizes their strengths and abilities, recognising each child's individual needs and developmental differences. I Belong includes practical strategies and real-life examples of the authors' applications and adaptations of the High/Scope Curriculum in a variety of preschool settings serving children with special needs.
