Ursula Kolbe is a painter and author. Born in South Africa where she graduated in Fine Art, she lived in Europe, USA and Canada before settling in Australia. She paints in oils, distilling memories of emotional experiences, atmospheres and moods in abstract compositions enmeshed with traces of handwritten words. Her latest solo show at Charles Hewitt Gallery included sculpture made from found objects.
