Susan Stacey has been working in various capacities of early childhood education for over 30 years. Her roles have included preschool teacher, director, teacher trainer, and college teaching in curriculum, environments, and practicum. The bulk of her work has been in lab schools where she developed curriculum, educated teachers and student teachers, and conducted teacher research. She has presented widely on emergent curriculum, observation, and documentation of children's work.
