Catherine Patterson Catherine has spent all of her professional life involved in education and as a teacher educator she is able to draw on that knowledge and experience in her work with preservice student teachers and qualified classroom practitioners. Her current teaching responsibilities focus on the relationship of theory and practice in professional experience units for undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition, she has a major responsibility to support staff in maintaining the quality of learning and teaching practices within the Institute of Early Childhood at Macquarie University, Sydney
