Abigail Connors has been an early childhood music specialist for over seventeen years, and firmly believes in the importance of music to the development of the whole child. Abby holds a Bachelor of Music from Manhattanville College and an M.A. in Education from the University of Connecticut. She teaches her own music and movement program for children 18 months to 6 years at several central New Jersey preschools and childcare centers. Her program includes singing, movement, rhythm instrument activities, literacy/music activities, classical music, listening games, sound exploration activities, and puppetry. Abby has presented workshops on early childhood music education and rhythm instruments for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC), the New Jersey Music Educators Association, and other groups.
